Toilet Door System for The Plaza

Lockwood Naylor approached CS for a toilet door system that would be modern, reliable and most of all - vandal resistant - for the Palmerston North Mall development.

The obvious solution was the AutoCav WC that had been previously installed into the Sylvia Park complex in Auckland. However, the developers wanted extra insurance and asked that CS provide a stainless steel cover to the jamb reveals. CS then commissioned the in-house design team to draw up and order in folded stainless steel jamb protectors that not only looked great in situ, but also were effective at deflecting the trolley and wheel chair damage these openings are typically subjected to.
